COVID 19 Update
In light of government guidelines we have taken the decision to postpone all workshops and classes. Full refunds or the opportunity for priority booking onto future classes will be available; we will be getting in touch with you if you have signed up for anything. Over a glass of wine watch, learn and then have a go. These evenings are a fun way of getting together with others interested in learning a bit more about cooking in an informal way - no prior expertise needed or expected! They run from 7.30 to about 9.30pm and cost £15 per session which includes a glass of wine, recipe sheets and a selection of samples that you make. They take place in our kitchen in West Common and we can take up to 15 people. Sessions we have run in the past have included Beautiful Biscuit Icing, Simple Cheesemaking, Fruit Curds, Preserving Vegetables, Seasonal Cordials, Making Artisan Chocolates and Christmas Biscuit Wreaths. These sessions are particularly aimed at senior men and are supported by The Harpenden Trust Community Fund. (click here for more details) Held at Cornelia’s Coffee Shop, St Nicholas Church Halls, Church Green, Harpenden. Due to our funding arrangements they are primarily open to those who live in Harpenden. They run from 2.00pm - 4.00pm £10 per course (subsidised places available where cost is prohibitive - contact us in confidence to discuss) If you live outside the area places may be available but at a higher cost.
