Pattacakes Recipe to Have a Party That Really Goes With a Bang

We have used our knowledge of food science to create a fantastic fun party that turns your kitchen into a science laboratory.  Be amazed what can be done with everyday ingredients.

Serves       Children, aged 8 years and upward. For this party we just need a worksurface or table the children can all         work around. (About 50cm length of workspace per child)  

Party Timing      2 hour party, with 1 ½ hours of hands on scientific fun, then time to eat a party tea (not provided).

Costs          Up to 8 children £250 Additional children at £28 per child

Preparation

  • Reserve and book your party date, not forgetting the £50 deposit

  • Talk through the venue with us, and any special needs

  • Send out the invitations provided by Pattacakes

  • Remind guests to wear old clothes, science can be a messy business!

The Party

  • The guests are entertained from the moment they arrive with hands on experiments that they each conduct using familiar ingredients that can be found in all kitchens

  • During the party children can expect to undertake around 4 experiments each and take part in other investigations that the party leaders will demonstrate

  • We can put together the party for you or you can choose from our list of exciting science based activities - secret writing, bath bombs, sherbet, gooey slime, honeycomb toffee, mini rockets, magic water, coke fountain - these are just some of the experiments we can conduct.

  • Children take home the end results of many of their experiments
