Covid 19 Announcement

We are very keen to expand our efforts at producing and selling real bread to our local community and right now there is a huge demand. Despite our best efforts at sourcing flour and other ingredients in sufficient quantity, all supplies of flour are very restricted. We are therefore very sorry to announce that there will be an inevitable delay to the expansion of our microbakery. We are talking to suppliers everyday in an attempt to solve this and will announce when our products are available to order as soon as possible. in the meantime do keep signing up to our bread order mailing list by clicking here

In 2019 Sarah and Jane trained as Bread Angels. This national group aims to bring real bread to communities through offering bread baking training courses and selling loaves through a network of microbakeries. We have been baking and selling to our very local community for the last year and our plans to  expand this side of our business to offer our bread to a larger audience has been in development for several months. We have now obtained the correct permissions from the authorities and we  have a launch date of March 2020. We will be selling a small range of delicious real bread including sourdoughs and a small range of cakes which will all be available for preorder and collection or delivery  from our 2 Harpenden homes in central Harpenden and in West Common one day a week. Bread will be freshly baked on the day of collection and simply packaged. Our bread freezes very well so we suggest you stock up to last you through the week. .A list of what breads are available each week will appear here or we can email direct to you.
